Because really, when are you going to buy yourself a wine thermometer?

This site, “The Something Store,” cracks me up.

You send them $10 and they’ll send you something. Anything.

From the site:

Your Something May Be Anything It may be something you need, something you want or something you desire.
Yours may be a cool gadget, rare book, table game, handmade necklace, reverse clock, box of gourmet chocolates, set of shiny shower curtains, popular video game, big-box retailer gift card, the latest version of a software, a set of kitchen knives, a pair of designer jeans, garden tool, kitchen appliance, unique home decor item, electronic equipment, magazine subscription, office supply item, or …
Your something will most likely be brand new, though it may also be refurbished or antique.

You can even check their tracker to see the somethings that others received. I don’t know about you, but I’d pretty excited about getting a Kitchen Knife Set or a Magic Bullet Blender set. We need knives pretty badly and the Magic Bullet always looks like fun on those infomercials at 3:30am. However. Some items, like the “Crack a Head Planter” would be such a letdown.

Everyone has those brilliant “stimulus checks” lying around… maybe use $10 of yours to get something for yourself. Or wait until those Secret Santa grab bags come up at work?

Sadly, they don’t deliver internationally (making Boyfriend’s chances of getting an aluminum card carrier for his birthday pretty slim) so I can’t try it out myself, but if you do, let me know what fantastic thing you get…
